On the hunt for a Ford Transit Custom L2H2, I came across Chancery Motor Group who had the perfect van. On looking over the van from the pictures supplied, I called James to discuss my requirements and notably, my predicament about not being able to test drive the van, due to my location (some 300 miles away). James was exceptionally helpful. Ran me through the spec, the history and walked outside whilst I was on phone to discuss any marks/blemishes on the paintwork. It appeared that the van was "as described", immaculate. So, not wanting another one to slip through my grasp, I paid a holding deposit to secure the van. James stated that "if you come down and don't think the van lives up to what I've stated, you can get your deposit back".. a win win situation really. I booked flights for the following weekend and travelled down to collect. Throughout the whole process, James said he'd even collect me from Bristol Airport. A very generous gesture indeed and it made life simpler. Upon collection we drove beck to the dealership (25mins) and I got handed the keys to have a look for myself. "Report back once you've had a look", said James and we'll take it from there. The van, happily was as described. It was immaculate. Once all the paperwork was out the way, I had the task of driving the 300 odd miles back up to Scotland. It'd be a good test for the van anyways and provide confidence in my purchase. I had noticed that the brake pedal was 'bouncing' a fair bit under heavier breaking up the motorway, but it wasn't dangerous. Knowing the van had undergone a new MoT, I was aware that it just might be excessive wear to the front discs. Contacted James when I stopped half way and we agreed that I'd get it looked at and take action from there. My own mechanic had a look and confirmed that the front discs really needed replaced and would resolve any issues. Contacted James to discuss resolution and he was happy to refund an amount agreed. I cannot fault Chancery Motor Group (James) on their customer service. A few other garages that I contacted prior to this purchase could learn a lot from the service Chancery provide. I'm extremely happy with service and purchase. and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chancery Motor Group. Here's hoping that maybe in a few years when I've finished converting the van to a camper and exploring the UK/Europe with it, I'll be able to call James again for a newer van.

Very impressed with Chancery Motor Group. Excellent communication from James, a courteous and non-pushy viewing of the vehicle along with an easy purchasing process. The vehicle itself (Nissan Navara) is in excellent condition, very well presented and was serviced before being released. The service received from James was first class, a pleasure from start to finish, the car was as described, kept his word the whole way through, the whole transaction was smooth and professional, every issue that arose was delt with, the communication was impeccable, the finance was a breeze and the after sales care was like nothing i have experienced before. It won’t be anytime soon because of the quality of car but i hope to deal with this company again on my next car purchase, i had a 350 mile Round trip which James offered to do but i choose to go myself. Professional and polite. They listened to what type of car we wanted and did not try and make us buy a more expensive one. They answered all our questions and were patient. There was a small problem with the car in the first three months and they answered the phone and responded to emails and sorted out the warranty straight away. Genuine people with a genuine desire to treat the customer well. We will definitely go back next time we need a car!
